16 year old newcomer Tate McRae has exploded onto the scene with a powerful voice and an impressive dancing flexibility shown in the video that accompanies ‘Tear Myself Apart’. Of the track, she says “it’s a very dramatic and intense song, but it’s real and honest. It’s easy to get caught-up in a relationship and take everything out on yourself. ‘Tear Myself Apart’ comes directly from the heart”. The vulnerable tune is an impressive debut from such a young artist, so there is obviously a lot to look forward to in McRae’s career. - Dan Peeke
